FOUR YEARS.

Year one set the format. Nineteen competitors, four events on the lake, and a Spikeball medal bonus that gave Kyle the inaugural trophy 28 to 23 over Tyler.

Year two changed the cast. The field grew to thirty, five events deep, with a new Most Wicked Race closing out the day. Austin Granger built a 10-point lead through Pickleball and Wiffleball and held it to the line, taking the trophy 31 to 26. The first non-repeat winner the lake has seen.

Year three came down to a single station. Thirty-five competitors, the debut Most Wicked Combine, and Kyle and Cory tied 29–29 going into the last event. Cory ran the morning with a perfect 4–0 in Hole Sports. Liza Klyachkin came back from 1–4 to win Pickleball 6–4. Bret Welch cleared the beach with a Wiffleball home run. Kyle took the six-station Combine shootout 6–5, the +2 medal bonus locked it, and the final read 31 to 29. Cory walked away with the Most Wicked GOAT vote.

Year four tested whether the day would finish at all. Eighteen scorers fought through beaming heat before a storm arrived with two outs left in the final Wiffleball game. The tents had to be held down by hand. The group waited under the right-field pavilion, then went back out and finished in the rain. Cory Bartholomew took Hole Sports, Kyle beat best friend Brooks Rumney for Pickleball, Bret Welch owned Dodgeball, and Jake Rodgers found his first hit of the day when Wiffleball reached sudden-death home runs. Kyle then won all four Spikeball rounds with four different partners.

The championship was tied again with two Combine stations left. Kyle chose the 30-yard, three-point field goal instead of the safer two-point attempt. He made it. Brooks missed the matching kick. Kyle hit the one-point quarterback target first and clinched the title before the final scores were tallied, 37 to 31. Emma Rodgers became the first Most Wicked Woman, Jake took the Most Wicked GOAT vote, and Nic Arnold earned Rookie of the Year.

Four years, two champions, one lake. Kyle owns three trophies. Austin owns the other. Every new score now has history behind it.
